The N.A.F.A. match scene has been busy of late with three matches in the last two weeks.

The John Loveridge Memorial Pole Match was held on Key; hot weather making the going hard. Winner was Mike Smith with bream on "Poo-Paste" for 5k 350g.

Second was Rick Johnston, also with bream on "Poo-Paste" for 4k 200g, and third was Mark Cousins with 4k 120g.

The latest round of the Tackle Trader Evening League was also on Key, youngster Samuel Powell recording a convincing win with 7k 550g of skimmers and roach on the pole with maggot or corn.
Second was Mike Hadley with 3k 500g, and third was Carl Everton with 3k.

Samuel Powell carried his recent good form into the annual "All Night Trophy" match at Rackerhayes last weekend, banking numerous carp to 4lb on corn and pellet from Peg 2 on Wheel, for 23k 500g.

Second was Rick Johnston on Peg 10 on Wheel with a similar net for 19k 850g, and third was Liam Dore from Peg 128 on Dores with 19k 350g of bream and eels. A 7lb 10 oz Bream was weighed in on Linhay and several Carp around the double figure mark were weighed in on Island and Weedy.

Next weekend is the Annual Festival, but due to England’s second World Cup game on the evening of Friday 18th, it will only be fished over Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June.
