Tench Are Playing In Island Pond

We have reports of a few Tench coming out from Island Pond float fishing with red maggot. Cheesespot and the back waters have been mentioned so if you are up for an early Tinca then get down to Island Pond in Rackerhayes Complex

It seems that there are a few more tench coming out of Island pond and the banks are busy with anglers filling their boots! Get in there and get some.

There are some really big fish in there - a 10lb plus fish was caught and witnessed in the Autumn. We are a bit spoilt really since they average out around 6lb which is a really cracking fish for most waters. I guess that is why Rackerhayes has a good reputation nationally

Well Island Pond continues to fish well, Adam Bojar had twelve fish out this week reaching just over 6lb in weight. He has caught during the day but evenings into dark have been the most productive. If you don't have your NAFA license yet I think this season it could well be woth at least an Associate ticket! Available at all good tackle shops including Tackle Frenzy!
