Information re rulebook/work party

One of our eagle eyed Junior members has pointed out the address on this form is out of date. All entries should be sent in to the new address PO Box 229, Totnes, TQ9 9EY or handed in at one of the Newton Abbot tackle shops.
Works on Wheel Pond
Regular visitors to Rackerhayes will have noticed work in progress on the island on Wheel Pond. While the colony of mink, who have taken up residence on the Island, were being investigated a local tree surgeon noticed the vast majority of the silver birch growing there were diseased or damaged in some way. On his recommendation the birch are being cleared but the oak and other species will remain to grow on, It is interesting to note there wasn't a sign of any other wildlife or birds' nest on the island as the mink seem to have scared everything off/eaten it.
