Junior Christmas Match
The juniors had their christmas match in will today, few fish were caught, just 3 carp came out and a few roach,
Ben Avery won with a single carp of about 6lb
Sam Powell was 2nd with 1kg 400 of roach
Oliver Fay was 3rd with a single carp for 1kg 350
Elliot Fay (me) was 4th with a single carp for 880g
5th went to Iggy White
and 6th Ashley Smith both Iggy and Ashley had a few roach
7th down to 14th all blanked, however they all picked up plenty of prizes and there was lots of happy faces after they collected their winnings.
On behalf of the juniors that fished today i would like to say a big thank you to martin in Newton Tackle and Guns for carrying the prize funds from the pairs match over to the xmas match so not only everybody got goodies they had an extra money voucher for the shop and im sure we will all be in some time soon.
Happy Christmas

Re: Junior Christmas Match
Good report Elliot - well done. I had a walk around and saw some fish coming out under very difficult conditions, all credit to all the competitors for sticking it out to the end.

Re: Junior Christmas Match
Well done lads, the conditions were not ideal and fair play to you all for sticking it out. I wanted to be there at the end but a car disaster prevented that one, sorry guys.
I am glad that you all enjoyed the day and we look forward to reading about next years adventures.
Have a Happy Christmas all.
