Six Carp in one session from Dores

Last weekend was N.A.F.A.'s annual "2 in 1" match on Bradley Pond. Winner on the day was Jamie Pearce from Peg 24 with skimmers on the waggler and caster for 7k 050g. Second was Gary Webber on peg 22 with a similar catch for 6k 040g, and third was John Dore on peg 7 with roach and skimmers on pole and maggot for 3k 700g.

The latest round of the Tackle Trader evening league on Key was won by junior Ashley Smith with skimmers and bream on pole and sweetcorn for 4k 770g. Gary Webber was second with a similar 4k 700g.This result shows Junior anglers breaking through to make an impression in senior matches,well done Ashley.

At Rackerhayes the tench continue to feed on all ponds.Dominic Holmes fished Homers Lane on Dores Pond to bank six carp from 10lb to 21lb.Sawmills is fishing well for skimmers and bream on the feeder or long pole; Eddisonfor nets of small skimmers and roach, plus the odd bonus tench or carp; Wapperwell for mixed bags of tench, carp and skimmers on pellet or corn; Spring Ponds and
