August 31st Update

The final round of the N.A.F.A.' Teign Trophy' Junior Summer League was fished on Wheel Pond last weekend.

Winner on the day was Ashley Smith on Peg 1 with four carp on pole and "Poo Paste" for 8k 700g, including a specimen of nearly 4k!.
Second was Alex Daniels with one tench and one carp for 2k 640g, and third was Elliott Fay with 2k 230g.

The over all league result saw Ashley the run away winner with five match wins for a perfect score of 5 points!

Second was Elliott Fay with 14 points, just beating third placed Ben Avery with 16 points and fourth was Alex Daniels with 26.

The first two rounds of the Senior N.A.F.A. Club League have been held on Wheel and Key Ponds respectively.

In Round 1 on Wheel, winner was Mike Hadley on Peg 3 with carp on legered pellets for 8k 080g. Second was Michael Mudge with 4k 930g of carp on the pole, and third was Steve Walker with 4k 880g.

Round 2 on Key was won by youngster Samuel Powell with 3k 480g, second was Steve Walker with 1k 760g, and third was Mark Newman with 1k 720g.

Elsewhere, N.A.F.A. waters continue to produce good catches for the pleasure angler.In Dores Pond, carp to 25lb, bream to 9lb and roach and perch are all feeding.Junior Elliot Faye had two Eels over 4lb on boilie in a mixed catch taken overnight. Linhay is producing nets of up to 5 tench in a session, as are First and Island Ponds.

Sawmills good form continues with skimmers and bream on long pole or feeder, as well as carp to 20lb on boilies. Roach, perch and skimmers can all be found at Bradley on maggot or caster. Fish Wapperwell for carp, tench and skimmers on pellet or corn. Spring and Charlecombe continue to produce good catches of carp.
