N.A.F.A. Report 7/12/09
N.A.F.A.Juniors fished their annual Christmas match on Wheel Pond last weekend.
Winner on the day was Ben Avery with a single carp for 2k 800g. Second was Sam Powell with an all roach bag for 1k 400g, and third was Oliver Fay with one carp for 900g .
Catch reports have been limited due to the recent bad weather but Bradley,Wapperwell and Rocombe Ponds are producing some decent nets of fish.
This Sunday is the N.A.F.A. Christmas Open. Members please note that the ponds in use are Wheel, Wapperwell, Key, Bradley and possibly Weedy, depending on numbers. Book in for the match as per the News and Notices page on www.newtonfishing.com the deadline is 4p.m. on Saturday. At the time of writing 54 anglers have biooked places.
